Under the vision of the Government of Sindh, the Sindh Master Plan Authority under the leadership of Mr. Shaikh Fareed, Senior Director, Sindh Master Plan Authority, celebrated the 78th independence ceremony of Pakistan and the memorable achievements of Marka e Haq on 13th August, 2025. 

 

The event started with a warm welcome to Dr. Waseem Shamshad Ali, Secretary, Local Government Housing & Town Planning Department, GoS. Subsequently, he was presented with the traditional Sindhi Ajrak, Topi, Bouquets, and other gifts. 

 

The esteemed Chief Guest visited various sections of the Authority and admired the decoration and preparation. He also visited the historical library of Master Plan Department (now known SMPA) and praised its revival efforts.

 

Then, a cake cutting ceremony at the conference room of Sindh Master Plan Authority was carried out, followed by a planting activity in the garden of the Civic Center. The honorable Chief Guest left the Civic Center after making heart-wining appreciation for the Senior Director, SMPA, and his team for organizing such an excellently managed occasion.
